Bixpy and Vallon Performance Eyewear Join the Big Bass Tour Africa

It has been the usual busy time across the entire company that is bringing you the future of bass fishing for Africa.

Welcome to our newest sponsors

Bixpy is an award winning electric motor brand that is flying off the shelves in the USA and who have made HUGE strides in providing the most adaptable e-motorised outboard system in the market.

They are not the cheapest but they certainly are the easiest and offer support like no other company in the industry and that has been proven THOUSANDS of times and can be verified in the amount of reviews, youtube channels and awards they have won.

You get what you pay for, that's the bottom line. We are proud to welcome them and their brand to South Africa and they have already offered to do more for the anglers in this country than any of the current establishment.

Vallon Performance Eyewear is one that came as a massive surprise but we are super excited to have been called by the team at Mad Rhino  who immediately let us know we have a really unique brand for our tour.

Their entire philosophy is about being the most sustainably manufactured eyewear on the planet and if you see the amount of work they have already done you cannot argue with that.

We received some samples of their eyewear this morning and all we can say is that if you can find a better pair of sunglasses, manufactured with 85% recycled fishing nets and with better clarity AND a fair price then we have to call you out to show us.

NEWS AND UPDATES

Plenty of news will be heading out via our social media channels this weekend. We have the official small boat sponsor for the Small Craft Bass Series being announced, we have one or two small details to work out (read we want more for the anglers) and we have come to an agreement.

We continue our search for a bait company to partner with, what an ordeal, the simplest item and we struggling to get this over the line.

We are a bit disappointed though with the local boat manufacturers, this is something we thought someone would jump at, we have emailed every boat manufacturer, never asked for anything free, just a price they would give to us in exchange for the myriad of marketing benefits.

We are most likely going to decide to go out and get our own boat brand to become the African distributor and we will then be competing with local manufacturers.

If that means waiting for season two then we will. We have no rush, we not in the tournament to make money in the short term, we have contracts for 5 years, we plan to be here for a lifetime.

We here to create the biggest fishing platform that gives anglers the opportunity to become professionals, enjoy the competition and we will not get it right in season one but in season two we will outstrip any tournament trail.

Our recce team will be heading to Namibia, Zimbabwe and Botswana in November already planning our 2026 calendar.

As always, if you as anglers have suggestions or wish to see something different please send us an email to td@bigbasstour.co.za

Please subscribe to our newsletter and please share our series.
