We will answer the cowards and trolls ONCE. That is below. Then we leave them to our legal team. We cannot waste our energy on cowards. We want to expend our energy on the tour and making it the best for the angler by giving them the ultimate user experience.

LET’S GET THE NEGATIVE OUT THE WAY

You know when you are making people nervous?

You want to know when you are rocking the boat?

When the supposed unassociated Associations get their little minions together and begin bullying, insulting and spreading rumours and lies.

 We expected this, we contacted our brands after they were attacked by a few people and unfortunately, these little insignificant trolls now got what they wanted and will be meeting our entire team right here in Cape Town. We are sure they will tell the story….probably not.

SABAA have been excellent in what they have done in the sport, we respect that and salute them for their efforts.

HOWEVER, when you are doing something for too long, a sense of power goes to your head and when you think you can take down a competitor tournament series through the use of abuse, bullying and cowardly behaviour, then you have lost your way, and it is EVEN MORE crucial that something new and fresh comes into the sport.

Instead of upping your game, you chose cowardice, instead of welcoming you abused, that is not who will represent this tournament trail and we certainly will not allow your fingers of evil and rot on our tour.

We took our interaction on that KZN Bass Group to heart, and we even announced it that we going to just keep our announced events, a total of six at the time, and then look to grow in 2026.

That is until last week when a bunch of cowardly individuals tried to tarnish the reputation of this tour using unwarranted attacks on our Marketing Director and Director of Mad Rhino Gear, John Stephenson.

 Well, it worked for a few days, you had us putting out fires BUT…you won nothing but a court date, a police interview in a criminal matter and we assure you a lifetime ban on this tour and we are just getting started, civil summons is on the way and we will put you in court for as long as we can to ensure you pay your dues.

 There will no longer be any discussions with any tournament trail in this country and we expect the same. We started this from scratch, and we will grow it in the same way.

Abuse, bullying and cowardice are banned in our rules. It’s disgusting and the shame should be on you. We do not want your kind on our tour, and we certainly do not want your behaviour on our tour.

The Big Bass Tour Africa is about family, it is about inclusivity, there is no place for people who are not examples to kids or that threaten the peace at a family centered event.
