The season will see the Big Bass Tour Elite Series reach 7 provinces in South Africa in 2025 which is truly special.

ENTRY FEE

Entry Fee - R3500 PER TEAM

Two Anglers + Boat

WeighMasters

ALL teams will have a weighmaster on board at a cost of R500 for the tournament.

Tourney X

Each team must register on Tourney X and pay the $7 (R150) to enter each tournament they would like to enter.

Anglers can also pay on the Friday of each event provided they are at the venue BEFORE 2pm at an additional cost of R1000.*

*Anglers must register and pay Tourney X 14 days prior the launch of the event.

* This option will include Friday night dinner provided angler has registered prior.

* This option is not available for the Bass Battle event.

Every stage on the tour, except the Bass Extreme, will follow the same order of events to ensure consistency.

FRIDAY

Registration

3pm-8pm

SATURDAY

Mornng Session

Launch from 6am
Attach Bait. Cast at 7am
2 Power Hour Sessions
Weighmaster on board
No Limit format

Please Note: Weighmaster's will be on board each vessel and each legal fish caught will be weighed, photographed and uploaded by them onto the Tourney X platform.

Afternoon Session

Launch from 13.00pm
Attach Bait. Cast at 14.00pm
2 Power Hour Sessions
17.00pm LINES OUT
Dinner at 19:00pm will include debrief, live updates and briefing for Day Two.

SUNDAY

We return to more traditional format

Session One

Launch from 6am
Attach Bait. Cast at 7am
3 Fish to count on Day Two
Weighmaster's will inform their boat captain if they must keep a fish in the livewell for the Biggest Bass competition only.
Otherwise all fish are weighed, photographed and uploaded on Tourney X and released immediately.
11am LINES OUT

Session Two

Prizegiving will start at 12.30pm
Top 3 Winners will need to be interviewed for television.
Estimated end time is 14.00pm.

A NEW SPIN ON COMPETITION

WEIGHMASTER ON EVERY BOAT
For the BBT Elite Series a weighmaster will be on each boat. They will weigh each fish, photograph and upload to Tourney X on the water.
Once capturing is complete the fish can be released immediately. Biggest Bass will be the only fish kept in Livewell.
MYSTERY POWER HOUR
5 LURES, EACH WITH A PRIZE VALUE.
Drawn at random by the team who submits the biggest bass during the power hour.
TOURNEY X LIVE
The BBT will feature a new concept in South Africa where we will be introducing having a nominated weighmaster on every boat.
