Our own unique format in the Small Craft Bass Series. We want to provide anglers of all skill levels the opportunity to win cash payouts over the course of each two day event.

NO LIMIT - All Legal Fish Count
All SCBS events will be a NO LIMIT format where ALL fish over 30cm will count towards your total.
POWER HOUR
On day one of each stage the Small Craft Bass Series will run the Power Hour where the biggest bass submitted during each power hour will win a prize payout.
There will be a minimum of 4 Power Hours run during Day One with R1000 awarded to the angler who has the biggest bass during that particular hour.
If you are a BassBonus.com member you will receive a Bonus R1000 AND you are entitled to R500 if you finish second.
WINNING TOTAL
All legal fish caught count towards a combined total length from Day One and Day Two.
Angler who has the largest total length wins the stage.
Biggest Bass wins a prize and the equivalent of 3rd place Angler of The Year Points.
TICKET TO THE USA - Angler Of The Year
To be eligible for the Main Prize it is compulsory to participate in the BBT Bass Extreme and a minimum of five other events on the BBT Small Craft Series Circuit.
BassBonus.com is all about rewarding loyalty and there is a reward for loyalty for entering all of the events.
The Angler of The Year will follow a points based system that uses a formula determined by:
- The number of anglers per event with a 50 Angler Maximum and points increased if the field is larger or decreased if smaller.
- Points are awarded to the top 20% of the field. (Top 10 in a full 50-man field)
- Points are awarded to the Biggest Bass Submitted during the Power Hour.
- Points are awarded to the overall Biggest Bass Winner of each event.
- Bonus Points are awarded for the loyal participation in the Small Craft Bass Series.

OPEN TO ALL 13 YEARS+
The Big Bass Tour is about growing the sport and we believe this starts with the youth.
- A parent can supervise children under the age of 16 but may not compete.
- Parents of Children under 16 years old can opt to have a BBT Staff member supervise their child at a cost of R500 per day.
- Children 16 years+ can fish unsupervised but must be clearly known to the BBT Staff.

DAY 1 - NO LIMIT WITH THE POWER HOUR
- All events are a No Limit format. All bass that measure 30cm+ counts towards your total.
- Power Hour: Catch the biggest bass during that particular hour and win the R2000* prize.
- Catch, photo and release format where all bass are uploaded via the Tourney X platform.

DAY 2 - NO LIMIT
- We return to action where for four hours its all about getting those monsters in the bag!
- The total length caught on Day Two will be added to the total of Day One to give a final measured totalled.
- Angler with highest total combined length will be declared the winner.

COMPULSORY REQUIREMENTS

COMPULSORY MEASURING BOARD
ALL anglers are required to have the EGO Fishing Gear 24" Measuring Board in order to compete in the Small Craft Bass Series Events.
This ensures consistency and product quality across all competitors.

REGISTER ON TOURNEY X
Tourney X is our management software and all anglers must have an account to compete. The cost is +-R140 ($7) per event.
Your spot is not secure unless you have entered both on our website and on Tourney X.

CODE OF CONDUCT
A select few individuals will ruin it for everyone else and we have a strict family-centred approach.
The code of conduct is part of the compulsory forms required.

LANDING NETS PERMITTED
Net sizes are in the rules but the most important is that the net itself must either be rubber coated or full rubber construction with no knots. We recommend the EGO Fishing S2 Slider due to quality and versatility.

SMALL CRAFT APPROVAL
Kick boats, pontoons, kayaks, canoes and small dinghies and inflatables are approved up to 4m in length and 1.2m in width. A photo of your craft must be uploaded on the entry page. No photo means we will not process the entry.

ELECTRIC OUTBOARDS ONLY
ONE electric motor may be attached and one trolling motor if desired. No more than the equivalent of a 5HP output can be used. Please note that if you run out of battery and require assistance a penalty will apply.

COMPULSORY FEES DUE
Where these apply, all the above must be settled directly with the venues 14 days prior to the start of each event. Confirmation must be sent to the BBT OR you will forfeit your entry to the waiting list. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.

ACCOMMODATION TO BE SETTLED
IF applicable, all accommodation must be settled IN FULL 14 days prior to each event start date. Under no circumstances will the BBT Africa leave a stage with bills for accommodation not being settled. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
